A Viral Spiral selected for Indie Shorts Awards Cannes

A Viral Spiral has been selected for the Indie Shorts Awards Cannes. Indie Shorts Awards Cannes is an event dedicated to international short films of all genres, aiming to find new voices and perspectives to celebrate the power of a good story. The festival is dedicated to bringing the best of global cinema. Previously, films by Kevin Bacon, Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick, Pauline Chalamet, Ricardo Darín, Oscar nominees Jude Law and Brenda Blethyn were screened at the Indie Short Awards Cannes.

All films from the official selection will be screened in a virtual event from September 5-10, 2021 and during the physical event in the city of Cannes from October 26-28, 2021.

World-renowned artist Steve Cutts created the animation A Viral Spiral for the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation, in which he not only depicts the causes of the emergence of pandemics, but also shows the urgent measures needed to tackle them in the future. future.
