On June 2nd, the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation will release the anthology Meat the Truth, Essays on Livestock Production, Sustainability and Climate Change. The book forms a continuation of the documentary Meat the Truth and contains contributions from numerous scientists and opinion leaders.

On May 19th, the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation will present it’s second documentary, Sea the Truth. This film focusses on the state of our seas and oceans  and forms an addendum to the documentary Meat the Truth, which was released in 2008.

Marianne Thieme, party leader of the Party for the Animals, will present the climate film Meat the Truth at Klimaforum09 on Thursday December 17th.

On Wednesday May 13th at 4 pm the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation will present Meat the Truth as a side event during the 17th session of the Commission on Sustainable Development in New York, the United Nations conference on sustainable agriculture that will be attended by Marianne Thieme, Dutch MP for the Party for the Animals.

On May 17th, Meat the Truth will premier in New York. Prior to the parade, Marianne Thieme, Niko Koffeman and Karen Soeters will participate in the Veggie Pride Parade

The US premiere of Meat the Truth will take place during the Artivist Film Festival in Hollywood

On May 27th Vuconnected and the Institute for Environmental Studies (VU University) will organize the Dutch premiere of the international version of Meat the Truth.

The international version of Meat the Truth will be presented in the Odeon West End theater in London.
