#Powerplant selected for American Conservation Film Festival
#Powerplant has been selected for the 17th edition of the annual American Conservation Film Festival (ACFF) in Shepherdstown, West Virginia (USA). The festival takes place during two consecutive weekends: 4-6 October and 11-13 October 2019.
#Powerpant is one of only 40 films selected from hundreds of submissions from 44 countries worldwide. The festival focuses on the preservation of nature, climate and especially the link between humans and nature, wildlife and the environment.

#Powerplant selected for Zensa Media International Film Festival
#Powerplant has been selected for the Zensa Media International Film Festival in Montréal, Canada. During this festival only short films are screened. But because the selection committee was so impressed with #Powerplant, the decided to show a teaser of the film. During the next edition the full film will be screened.
Zensa Media International Film Festival takes place on June 26th in Montréal.

#Powerplant selected for Beyond Earth Film Festival
#Powerplant has been geselcted for the Beyond Earth Film Festival in India! Beyond Earth Film Festival is a monthly live screening film festival with an annual live screening mega award event in capital of West Bengal. The monthly live screenings take place at the end of each month at Amra Adbhut Cafe and Dolchut Adda. And Mega event happens at Ecospace the prestigious Red Carpet auditorium.
The screening at Beyond Earth Film Festival will be the Asian premiere for #Powerplant.

#Powerplant selected for SiciliAmbiente Film Festival
#Powerplant, the fifth documentary of the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation, was selected for the Italian film festival SicilyAmbiente. The festival takes place from July 14th – 19th in San Vito Lo Capo, on the Italian island of Sicily.
SicilyAmbiente is an international film festival for documentaries, short films and animations, focusing on the environment, sustainability and human rights. Films in the themes environment, anthopology, human rights, biodiversity, war, civil rights, sustainable development and human-environmental relations will be screened during the 6 day festival.

Meat the Truth translated into Romanian
Meat the Truth, the first climate film of The Netherlands, has been translated into Romanian. The film can now we watched on YouTube with Romanian subtitles.
The Romanian translation was made by the organization Vegan in Romania, which organized a very successful screening in Romania last weekend.

Sea the Truth wins three awards in Bogotá
The documentary Sea the Truth is the big winner at the Festival Cine Animal Bogotá in Colombia. The film won no less than three awards: “Best Documentary Feature”, “Peacock Feather” (Most original and creative work) and “Animal Planet” (Message of environmental awareness & animal).
