What we do

The Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation forms a bridge between science and society. In so doing, the foundation strives to translate scientific knowledge to the public and political agenda. The NGPF seeks to achieve this through the production of thought-provoking documentaries and articles, lectures and participation in debates.

The Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation gladly enters into discussions with scientists and experts who are prepared to weigh up alternatives that can make a contribution towards a more animal friendly, sustainable and pleasant society. In this way, the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation can continue to build a national and international network of experts in the fields of animal welfare, environment and conservation.
